Minimally Invasive Back Surgery Propels Melanie Roach to Achieve Her Olympic Dream Thanks to Dr. Robert S. Bray, Jr.
A successful 45-minute microdiscectomy performed by Dr. Robert S. Bray, Jr. of D.I.S.C. Spine on Sports Center allowed weightlifter Melanie Roach, an 8-Time US National Champion, to relalize her dream by successfully qualifying May 17 in Atlanta for the 2008 Beijing Olympics. This outpatient procedure was performed under a high-powered Zeiss microscope.
